Firewood

What We Say About Our Firewood

Our wood is produced using an industrial firewood processor with a variable size splitter head which produces firewood pieces both smaller and larger which is ideal for use in your wood stove. We recently added a firewood trommel to ensure that most debris is removed from the wood allowing us to deliver a cleaner product.

-         Fireplace customers may decide to re-split or purchase premium palletized wood.

-         Our wood is best seasoned at your home, order early order often

-         Firewood purchased after October will have a higher moisture content.

-         Firewood purchased after January is designated to be sold the following year, it is burnable. We do not run out of wood, we will always do our best to provide a product ready to burn however we want to make it clear, late season orders increase your odds of getting wood that is green or has high moisture content

-         Most importantly, Thank you to all of our lifelong customers and welcome to all our new customers.

Please remember its BEST TO ORDER EARLY or BE ONE YEAR AHEAD!  See our Frequently Asked Questions Below

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Is the wood seasoned?

Yes. Our firewood is cut from logs that have been down 6-24 months. Logs are stacked outdoors to season.  Fresh split firewood cut from seasoned logs is seasoned however there WILL be moisture because there are many variables that effect the moisture content on these logs, i.e. species, diameter, exposure to elements, etc.. Firewood stored in our pre-split pile will contain moisture from the elements. Firewood stacked and stored outside and covered at your residence will always be best. We suggest getting your firewood at least 3 months prior to planned use.
